Games To Look Forward To In 2015

Top 10 Lists? HA! We can do better than that! There are way more than just 10 games to look forward to in 2015. So instead of giving you a short list, we just rambled off tons of titles we are excited for. This list isn’t comprehensive in the least, and if we missed anything, feel free to mention it in the comments. But these, in particular, are games we are excited to see in 2015.

  • Mighty No. 9 – The return of Mega Man on next-generation platforms.
  • Evolve – 4 vs. 1 monster hunting first person shooter/survival game from the makers of Left 4 Dead.
  • Battlefield Hardline – Cops and Robbers the first person shooter made by the battlefield team!
  • No Man’s Sky – A procedurally generated universe exploration game with a world so big, with so many planets, that you will literally die before you get to see it all.
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider – The sequel to the much acclaimed Tomb Raider reboot, exclusively on Xbox One.
  • The Order: 1866 – Steampunk monster hunting knights fighting half-men half-beasts in gothic London. What’s not to love?
  • Yoshi’s Woolly World – The pseudo sequel to Kirby’s Epic Yarn starring Yoshi and playing like Super Mario World 2… with wool.
  • Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain – Snake? Snake! SNAAAAAAAAAKE!… is back again in Metal Gear Solid V, a brand new open world installment of Hideo Kojima’s famed series.
  • Halo 5: Guardians – You want more Master Chief? We got more Master Chief? Well specifically we have Master Chief’s future followers trying to live in his shadow in the midst of a huge sci-fi mystery, but we all know you are coming here for the online multiplayer.
Games To Look Forward To In 2015
  • Batman: Arkham Knight – Yet another opportunity to be the Batman! This time around your Batmobile shoots missiles, stun missiles of course, stun missiles that just happen to explode on impact.
  • Mario Maker – Make your own Mario stages, from the simple to the torturous. Now you don’t have to mod old roms! Share them with friends and never be without a new 2D Mario experience again!
  • Mortal Kombat X – New characters, multiple fighting styles per character, new mechanics, same old blood and gore. It’s MORTAL KOMBAAAAT! (Cue iconic dance song here.)
  • Xenoblade Chronicles X – The spiritual sequel to the “Xeno” series and Xenoblade Chronicles that came out for the Wii. An open world JRPG with giant robots and sci-fi themes.
  • Bloodborne – Another ultra-hard game in the vein of Dark Souls. From Software mixes up the formula this time by adding guns, taking away shields, and placing the game in a gothic horror city.
  • Zelda Wii U – We know absolutely nothing about this game… but it’s Zelda so everyone is going to go absolutely bonkers over it. Nintendo has said it will be open world, and the trailer makes it seem like it will feature robots.
  • Uncharted 4 – Nathan Drake, with his stubble and ruggedly cut chin, is going to be coming back, and with a subtitle like Drake’s End, he’s probably going to die. No gameplay for this one yet, but the brand alone sells it.
  • Tom Clancy’s The Division – In the post apocalyptic future, the only things you have to rely on are guns, computers, and the cooperation of random people over the internet. You are basically screwed, but hey, it still looks fun.
  • Crackdown – It’s the return of super powered super cops that are able to fly, fling cars at mob bosses, and generally cause massive collateral damage. Now updated for the Xbox One.
  • Quantum Break – A time travel, cinematic, TV-style game that was announced when the Xbox One was still young. Probably one of the most anticipated Xbox One titles.
  • Star Citizen – A space-sim with the most successful crowd funding campaign of all time. Has a budget similar to AAA titles!
  • Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture – It’s the end of the world and you are left behind. What meaning is there in your life?
  • Life is Strange – Think of a mashup between Gone Home and The Walking Dead and then add Prince of Persia’s Time Travel ability. It’s like The Butterfly Effect on crack with less Ashton Kutcher.
  • Splatoon – Tiny little anime girls turn into squids and throw ink at each other’s faces in Ninendo’s first family friendly first person shooter. With all the girls and tentacles, it’s like a G rated version of the internet.
  • Persona 5 – The long awaited sequel to the Shin Megami Tensei Persona series is here. We know so little about the game, but we can’t wait to raise our social links and delve through dungeons again.
  • Under Night In-Birth – This awesome 2D fighter came out in Japan last year and we provided you with an import review. So we know this game is gonna be awesome, now we are just waiting for it to come out in America.

What titles are you most looking forward to? Let us know in the comments.
