Enough About Pokémon Delta Emerald

Enough About Pokémon Delta Emerald

Okay internet, I’ve got something I have to get off my chest. It’s about this whole Pokémon Delta Emerald thing. Ready? Okay.

Calm down.

There’s no need to get excited about it. Stop clicking all the clickbait articles that are trying to make you think there’s something to this trademark. Pokémon Delta Emerald ? Is no big deal.

I mean yes, Nintendo did trademark the name. That’s what companies do. They seek to dominate everything before them, like Godzilla. Just because they trademarked Pokémon Delta Emerald doesn’t mean that, a few months after you buy Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby , Delta Emerald is going to come out with all kinds of new content and you’ll kick yourself for not waiting for it.

See, big companies like to do a thing called covering their bases. Especially when it’s with a property they know is successful and other scavengers would be ready, willing, and able to knock off. So, they go forth and think of anything they might every eventually want, and then call dibs on anything that could be related to their property to protect it. Which is probably why Nintendo called dibs on Pokémon Delta Emerald alongside Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby .

If Nintendo didn’t call dibs, then you know what might happen? You might see some ridiculous, knock-off game showing up on iTunes or Google Play, calling itself something like Monsters that Fit in Your Pocket: Delta Emerald. Because those copycat scavengers would know people have Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby on their minds, and would absentmindedly grab their game too.

Enough About Pokémon Delta Emerald

(By the way, if any Nintendo people are reading this, thanks for making it Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby . I’ve been typing Alpha Ruby and Omega Sapphire ever since you announced it.)

So cool down with all the Pokémon Delta Emerald talk. I’m tired of seeing all the rumors and talk about it on the internet. You’re seriously distracting me from my Fakemon and Moemon investigation time. Pokémon Delta Emerald is probably, most likely, not really happening, so let’s just focus on Pokémon Alpha Ruby and Omega Sapphire a… damn it! I did it again! You know what I mean!
